Cabo Pulmo National Park A Treasure of the Pacific

Cabo Pulmo National Park A Treasure of the Pacific

If you’re a nature lover in the mood for a fun day-trip, Cabo Pulmo National Park is the perfect place for you. Located just 100 kilometers (62 miles) north of the Pueblo Bonito Golf and Spa Resort, is an absolute treasure.

A regal mountain range rises from an immaculate, miles-long expanse of white-sand beach, and the bay is ideally suited for all manner of water sports, including kayaking and, during the months of January, February, and March, whale-watching.

The truly great wonder of this majestic place, however, lies below the waves. The bay of Cabo Pulmo is home to one of only three living coral reefs in North America, and it is the continent’s only hard coral reef. Couple that fact with the pristine clarity of the waters in the shallow bay, and you’ll understand why Cabo Pulmo is one of Mexico’s most celebrated spots for snorkeling and scuba diving.

Though you are welcome to bring your own equipment for whatever activities you choose to enjoy at the park, Pueblo Bonito would be happy to make arrangements for you, including transportation, tour guides, and equipment. Just let your concierge know what sort of adventure you’d like to have, and we’ll make it happen.
