La Bufadora
It’s a natural attraction that captures the attention of thousands of tourists who gather to enjoy its majesty, it’s located in Punta Banda, in the Maneadero delegation in Ensenada, Baja California. The bufadora is a cave where the water stagnates and comes out under pressure, the reach in height depends on the swell, if it is higher, the water comes out with greater force. This bufadero has registered up to 30 meters high above sea level. It should be noted that there are only 4 puffers in the world, in Australia, Tahiti, Hawaii and in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
Baja 1000 Race
It’s a very important race that is held 2 times a year in Ensenada, in May and November. The topography that the participating vehicles travel is very rough, dangerous, and with many complications between deserts, rocks and cliffs. This race began in the Mexican desert in 1967 and was called the Baja 1000, it is a high resistance event, it is the longest offroad race in the world, which captures the attention of all owners of off-road cars, enduro-type motorcycles, and ATVs that it is done in a single stage. It’s kind of a cross between Mad Max, the Dakar Rally, and The Twilight Zone.
Centro Social, Cívico y Cultural Riviera de Ensenada
In its heyday, it was called Hotel Playa, it was a hotel, casino, and restaurant. When the United States established the Prohibition Law, that is, it prohibited the sale and consumption of alcohol, many Americans traveled to this Beach Hotel, because in Mexico there was no such prohibition. It’s said that great personalities visited this place, among them: Marilyn Monroe, Lana Turner, Jack Dempsey, personalities of the mafia, it’s said that Al Capone was also a recurring visitor.
